We are looking for a candidate with a strong competitive fire to fill our Surveying Equipment Sales Representative position. The Surveying Equipment Sales Representative role will focus on maximizing sales opportunities by effectively answering and handling inbound sales calls from new and existing customers. Success in this position requires a good technical knowledge of Construction Lasers, such as Rotary Lasers, Grade Lasers, and Construction/Surveying Total Stations. This position will focus on, but will not be limited to hardware such as total stations, GNSS receivers, and various field and office software that support these systems. The Surveying Equipment Sales Representative is expected to establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, professionalism, and courtesy during all sales transactions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take incoming calls, chats, and emails relating to product questions and sales
- Make outgoing calls to existing customers to help grow sales.
- Maintain a relationship with your customers to make sure they are satisfied with our service.
- Follow up on quotes and sales leads by phone and email.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Commit to learning the top 50 products within a 60-day period
- Close sales and achieve quarterly achievement goals and quotas
- Learn and master the order processing billing system regarding all aspects of sales order entry, order inquiries, and other tools and functions as they relate to the inbound sales function
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of surveying and/or laser equipment is required.
- Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
- Ability to apply appropriate sales techniques and demonstrate sustained achievement of stated sales goals
- Be creative, and pay close attention to details.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) and knowledge of Windows operating environment.
